Unforgetting LA #3 – Build a Better Online History of Art in Southern California

EastofBorneo_MOCA_logos

East of Borneo, an “online magazine of contemporary art, and its history, as considered from Los Angeles,” is hosting a Wikipedia edit-a-thon to build a better online history of art in Southern California. This third meetup in their Unforgetting L.A. edit-a-thon series will focus on the 30 years since MOCA’s inception—L.A. art of the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s.

Bring your love of art, Los Angeles, research, history and writing to this one-day event. Participate for as little or as long as you like. All you need is a Wikipedia account, laptop computer and power adapter, as well as any reference materials you’d like to work from or share. Beginners are welcome! East of Borneo volunteers will provide training and reference materials to get you started.
