Organized by <a href=\"http:\/\/designeastoflabrea.blogspot.com\" target=\"_blank\">de LaB<\/a>, one of my favorite local non-profits that brings Angelenos together who are passionate about and engaged with the city\u2019s vibrant creative community, the event will give participants the opportunity to visit five architectural studios located within walking distance along a one mile stretch of\u2026 you guessed it \u2013 Hyperion Avenue in Silver Lake.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from getting a first hand look at some cool spaces and meeting the people behind a wide variety of exciting LA area commercial and residential projects, participants will help support future de LaB programming, including its <a href=\"http:\/\/designeastoflabrea.blogspot.com\/2013\/04\/our-making-la-initiative-is-awarded-art.html\" target=\"_blank\">Making LA<\/a> initiative &#8211; a series of design related events that will culminate with the first ever de LaB conference.
