Photo from 6th St.\u00a0Viaduct Replacement Project web site.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>In their ongoing effort to keep the public engaged in this $449 million project and connected to the storied bridge, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.josehuizar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Councilmember Jos\u00e9 Huizar<\/a> and the City of Los Angeles\u2019 Bureau of Engineering are hosting Rock Day LA. Attendees will be given free pieces of the old viaduct along with Certificates of Authenticity. They\u2019ll also be able to enjoy food, music and other activities, as well as see what the new, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mmaltzan.com\/projects\/sixth-street-viaduct\/\" target=\"_blank\">Michael Maltzan<\/a> designed, viaduct will look like when it\u2019s completed in 2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DETAILS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>When<\/strong>: Saturday August 13, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where<\/strong>: 585 S.
