Now comes <a href=\"http:\/\/artlosangelesfair.com\" target=\"_blank\">Art Los Angeles Contemporary<\/a> (ALAC), the youngest show to emerge on the region&rsquo;s January arts calendar. ALAC is an international contemporary art fair presenting 70 established and emerging galleries from around the world, with a strong focus on Los Angeles galleries.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"full-image-float-right ssNonEditable\"><span><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/cla\/legacy-images\/organizations\/ArtLosAngelesContemporaryLogoRGB.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1296075966376\" alt=\"\" \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Participants plan to showcase some of the most dynamic recent works from their roster of represented artists, offering a cross section of what is happening in contemporary art making. Of particular note is the inclusion of a <span style=\"color: #343434;\">dedicated Solo Artist Projects section. I think this is a very exciting addition to the show because it provides an opportunity for attendees to delve deeper into the work of a small group of artists than is often possible at an art fair. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Art Los Angeles Contemporary also hosts a comprehensive programming series, including artist talks, museum curator led panel discussions, and an artist film screening and performance series.
