It publishes new poetry, fiction, translations, and artwork in an annual spring issue, and features the work of emerging and established writers from the U.S. and abroad.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/ghosttownlitmag.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ghost Town<\/a><br \/>\n<em>Ghost Town<\/em>\u00a0is the national literary magazine of the MFA program at California State University San Bernardino<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.joylandmagazine.com\/regions\/los-angeles\/\" target=\"_blank\">Joyland Los Angeles<\/a><br \/>\n&#8220;Based on the idea that fiction is an international movement supported by local communities,\u00a0<em>Joyland <\/em>is a literary magazine that selects stories regionally.&#8221; The Los Angeles section focuses on stories about LA, by LA writers, or both.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/lunchticket.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lunch Ticket<\/a><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;Lunch Ticket<\/em>\u00a0strives to balance cutting edge literary and visual art with conversations about social justice and community activism.&#8221; The journal is\u00a0published by the MFA community\u00a0at Antioch University Los Angeles.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/rccmuse.tumblr.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">MUSE<br \/>\n<\/a><em>MUSE<\/em> is the annual literary journal of Riverside City College, published each spring. They publish poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction\/memoir, art, and short interviews.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/academics.ivc.edu\/hum\/TheEar\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">The Ear<\/a><br \/>\n<em>The Ear<\/em> is the literary journal of Irvine Valley College and focuses on publishing some of the best work in Orange County.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/losangelesreview.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Los Angeles Review<\/a><br \/>\nThe <em>LAR<\/em> bills itself as the home of &#8220;divergent, west coast literature.&#8221; Each issue is dedicated to a west coast writer.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rattle.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rattle<\/a><br \/>\n<em>Rattle\u2019s<\/em> mission is to promote the practice of poetry.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/therattlingwall.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Rattling Wall<\/a><br \/>\n<em>The Rattling Wall<\/em> is a literary journal based in Los Angeles, CA that accepts short fiction, travel essays, and poetry for publication.
