Periodically I come across an interesting resource that I just have to share with the Curating Los Angeles community. This definately counts as one of them.
Late last month the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) launched its new online Image Library, which consists of 2,000 high-resolution images of works of art from its encyclopedic collection. The museum believes all of these images are in the public domain and has made them available for free download.
I love that LACMA is seeking new ways to open up access to its collection and look forward to seeing what additional public domain images the museum adds to this online resource. In the meantime, check out what’s online today.
