Tickets went on sale yesterday afternoon for the 8th Annual FYF Fest, an all-ages music festival complete with multiple performance stages, comedy acts, art installations, craft booths, food trucks, and carnival games. This year marks several firsts for FYF Fest, including its new location in downtown LA near city hall and the involvement of Goldenvoice, the organization that also produces Coachella.
The 2011 lineup set to play this Labor Day event promises something for everyone. Acts range from SoCal punk rockers The Descendents to Toronto based indie rock collective Broken Social Scene. You’ll also find Explosions in the Sky, Simian Mobile Disco and Smith Westerns, among many other talented acts.
Despite higher ticket prices this year, the event still costs a lot less than most other all day festivals and looks to be worth the investment. Check out the official web site for more information, including a complete lineup.
